Fast 9 was released to huge amounts of praise, and since its release, it’s made pandemic-box office records. And now, thanks to this popularity with fans, it’s going to be released to on-demand services later this month.
Fast 9 follows the Fast Family as they encounter a long lost part of the Toretto family. Jakob (John Cena), is Dom’s brother, but he’s not looking for a hug. Instead, he and his team are after a very dangerous piece of technology, and Dom and his team are here to stop them.

It was released internationally on May 19 and later in the UK and USA. And now, as the film earns $70 million and wiping every other 2021 film off of the top spot. Now, on July 30th, it will be available on On Demand services. This is after Universal’s deal with cinema chains that allows a film that makes more than $50million in its opening weekend to be exclusive for five full weekends. After this, it will go to On Demand services. Fast 9 fulfils these conditions.
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Will Not Be Returning To Fast And Furious
Of course, it won’t be free to rent, with pricing likely being very different across the market. It’s therefore likely that we won’t see the end of Fast 9 in the charts, and it’s also likely that it will have an incredibly long life as households eventually get their eyes on it.
