Is Gal Gadot Returning To The Fast And Furious Franchise?
Written by Alex Harrington

Wonder Woman 1984 has finally been released despite pandemic restrictions stopping many from going to the cinema, but this hasn’t stopped the actor behind the character Gal Gadot from looking to the future of her career. Specifically, the Fast and Furious franchise.

Unfortunately, it sounds as though Gadot won’t be returning any time soon, despite Sung Kang returning as his character Han Lue in the ninth instalment of the franchise which has been pushed back to next year.

It seems as though Wonder Woman, DC, and other responsibilities such as Cleopatra, are just taking up too much time for the actor to return in another huge and prominent film series. This comes as a disappointment, as fans have been very happy to welcome Sung back into the Fast family after his untimely demise by the hands of Deckard Shaw. Unforutnatly, Gisele, Gadot’s character, won’t be returning from the dead any time soon.

During talks with MTV Newsshe admits that she has “no idea” if Gisele will return, especially as we’re yet to see her body after her apparent death. And hey, if Han can return after being killed in such a way, maybe anyone can?

“Oh wow, I don’t know,” she said in her interview. “Right now it’s not on my to-do list.” But she admits that in her future, she sees herself playing “epic, strong female figures”, so Gisele could definitely be on the cards.

“With Cleopatra, I’m very very excited – it’s one of my biggest passion projects to do with Chuck Roven and Patty Jenkins,” she said.

“We’re working on a fabulous script and I just feel like it’s gonna be such a tribute and a love letter for [Cleopatra’s] legacy.”
