Sung Kang Hangs Out With An Alfa Romeo Montreal Thanks To Hagerty
Written by Alex Harrington

For the past few days, Sung Kang has been driving a gorgeous Alfa Romeo Montreal that was kindly lent to him by Hagerty via Hagerty DriveShare. He’s driven the Alfa around the area to talk to some good mood dudes who inspire him and others and learn about how the COVID pandemic has affected the industry as part of Hagerty’s Driving Gratitude initiative, which officially launches on November 13. Check Hagerty’s Instagram on the 13th to learn more about the initiative and learn how you can participate.

Of course, Sung’s dog Deaji wasn’t going to be left out of the action!

The Montreal was first seen by the world in 1976 where it was a mere concept car. But with only its beautiful looks and body lines, it won the hearts of petrolheads and was soon ready for its full debut at the 1970 Geneva Motor Show. A 2.6-litre cross-plane V8 produced 197 horsepower which was taken to the rear wheels thanks to a manual 5-speed gearbox. Only around 3,900 were built, so what an experience this must have been for Sung.

The second stop of the #HagertyDrivingGratitude took him to some old friends…
