Sung Kang has had Doc Z for a while now, slowly forming together ideas for what the Datsun 240Z will eventually become. As we inch further into the life of this car under Sung’s ownership, we’re getting a better idea of what changes will be made to the Japanese sports car, and today, Sung has revealed the seats of this project.
Like the Fugu Z, the interior is being built by CarbonSignal, a Dubai-based shop that specialises in, you guessed it, carbon parts for Japanese vehicles. Doc Z’s seats are very similar to the Fugu Z’s seats, with tight side bolstering and a fabric centre.
Coming next to the car is a very special paintjob that harks back to low riders of old, and which features a graphic that sits very close to Sung’s heart.
