One of Sung Kang’s more recent projects, a Datsun 240Z that goes by the name of DocZ, has made yet another breakthrough since its paint job was confirmed in the latest update. The iconic Japanese sports car, that will be adorned by a koi graphic that Sung has on a scroll given to him by his father-in-law, is getting a full interior refresh from Carbon Signal, and Sung has posted the results to his Instagram page.
“Too many beautiful”, Sung says.
240Z interiors are prone to cracking, so it’s no surprise Sung is wanting to give this a complete overhaul before it’s morphed into a Dakar rally beast.
The beautiful design that swoops over the bonnet and down the side of the car was transferred from Sung’s scroll by Glen Cordle. It’s a ghost paint that’s reminiscent of old American hot rods, and this enables it to show the graphics at different intensities depending on the amount of light around the car.
We’re so excited to show you more of this car as it takes shape. Make sure you follow Sung (and Sung’s Garage) to keep up to date.
