Our very own Fast and Furious star Sung Kang has revealed a little information on his character in the upcoming Star Wars Series, Obi-Wan Kenobi. The series, starring Kang alongside Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen, and others, will follow Ob-Wan as his story unfurls from what we last saw in Episode 3, Revenge of the Sith.
Sung has now given us something to chew on after an interview with Tara Hitchcock.
“I can tell you, since I am playing it, that there is a sexual deliciousness to the character.”
So, should we expect a character similar to that of Han Solo? This would certainly be fate after his Fast and Furious character was actually named after the famous Star Wars smuggler.
Sung told Rotten Tomatoes what it was like to work on the set alongside such Star Wars alumni:
“The feeling that I get on set is every single crew member, you look in their eyes, and it’s like a kid going ‘I grew up watching Star Wars. Like, this is my dream to be here, to see one of the Star Wars characters, or the Darth Vader character or, you know, one of the Jedis walking around.
“No matter how old they are, it’s guys that do my makeup and stuff, and people who do the costumes, and all the set designers. There’s this feeling of legacy and it’s like everyone talks about history and why they feel so blessed to be here. there’s this history, there’s this kind of shared spirit and this passion of the connective tissue is all these Star Wars characters.”
