The ninth instalment of the Fast and Furious franchise will be featuring a new actor that’s very close to OG Vin Diesel, who plays the character Dominic Toretto, the muscle car-loving, quarter-mile-living hero of the films. Actually, this new actor is about as close as you can get to Vin, because it’s his son. Vincent Sinclair will be making his first on-screen debut in Fast 9, playing a young Dom Toretto, according to TMZ.
The filming reportedly took place in 2019, and according to the publication, was paid $1,005 per day. This is very reasonable, considering he was only 9 years old at the time.
We have no idea how much we’ll get to see the budding actor during the film, but it’s clear that we’ll see the early relationship between Dom and his brother Jakob, played by John Cena, and how it evolved into what is portrayed in the film trailers: a strong rivalry.
